be a long time since I've blogged. But here's the deal....I make these Yunomi's and I like them both but......which one is has the colors that most people like....love??? The earthtone colors are calm and so .... so.... you know....earthy! But the blue one with speck's of dark blue and green glaze combination is fab.Just in case you don't know what a Yunomi is, here's the scoop...more or less.
A yunomi is a small cup, usually used for tea in a traditional Japanese tea ceremony. The walls are generally thick enough so that the cup can be held while full of the tea. (Or, some say, the tea should never be so hot that you cannot hold the cup in your hand.) There is a more detailed description of what a Yunomi is but I won't bore you with the details. Mind you, you can use these for any drink you prefer and you don't really have to have a ceremony before you use them.
What I DO want to know is....which glaze is most appealing to you? Extra chance in the drawing if you make a Yunomi a favorite ( give it a heart).

Well - I have to go with the blue/green combo. Both are terrific, but I am just a peaceful colors kind of gal.

I'm voting for the earthier one, it seems more unusual to me, so that's the one I want [when I win}!!

Hmmm...even though blue is my favorite color, I really like the golden brown one. Since I'm the 6th person to post, that makes it 50% for the blue, 50% for the brown. Guess we're not being very helpful, are we?! LOL
I LOVE the blue and green ones!! The earth tone is beautiful too, but I really like blue and green together here lately it just does something to me.
I do love them both and it looks as though you need to keep making both! But, I think the blue green edges out the other one a teeny tiny bit. I love blue. And we drink tea like there's no tomorrow. I like them both. If I was shopping for a set of these, I'd choose a couple of each color.
Both colour combis are great but I lean towards the blue - well I like blue! Cool, calming like tea should be.
Love your work and will now have to do the praying dance for the blue green one to come to me!!! LOL

Both are beautiful! My favorite is the earthy. It has a wood-fired/shino look and I really like how it breaks so nicely over your stamp.
LOVE them both! The earth colors gives that wood fired look that I love, but I had to go with the blue and greens for the colors of the sea are just so calming. They are absolutely beautiful and if you ever want to share that glaze-PLEASE DO! I think you will have to keep making both of them!

We had a chocolate lab named Cocoa for many years. He was an escape artist! Look out! :) Any time we had a thunderstorm he was off down the street! Very sweet, though!
